HUDDERSFIELD Town boss Lee Clark confirmed today that Leeds United had not made contact with him about their vacant managerial post. Asked if Leeds had made the call, Clark answered: "Not to me." With Leeds seeking a successor to Simon Grayson, who was sacked earlier this week, Clark added: "I am aware of the situation at Leeds and, ultimately, it's because we've been achieving as a club that I've been linked. "My record backs that up - we have had only two defeats in 53 games and the value of the squad is much higher since I've come to the club. "But also a lot of it is down to the players and the team. "All it does is stress we are doing a good job. It's just speculation and until I'm told otherwise, I'm the manager of Huddersfield Town. It's just part of the job (the speculation)." Read
