TUES AM: Toon man and Glovers boss linked with Town job

Former Walsall manager Richard Money is in the frame to take the job at Town.

Reports say that Money, currently heading up Newcastle United's youth academy, could be tempted by an offer following the Premiership club's uncertain future and currently being for sale.

Money played as a defender for Liverpool and Fulham among others, during the 1970s and 1980s and was capped by the England B team.

Money managed Scunthorpe in the early 90s and was later head of youth at Aston Villa and Coventry. He has also managed in Sweden, Singapore and Australia.

Money moved to Walsall in May 2006 and took them to the League II title in the 06/07 season before leaving the club in April 2008.
