York City expect to hear from Huddersfield Town in January transfer window about Richard Brodie

YORK City boss Martin Foyle says he has not received a bid from Huddersfield Town for Richard Brodie - but is expecting offers for the striker when the transfer window opens.

Accoring to SkySports, Brodie has impressed for the Blue Square Premier side this season and scored a hat-trick in midweek to take his season tally to 17.

He also scored twice in last weekend's 3-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra in the FA Cup first round.

Foyle has confirmed there have been no firm offers from Town, but he would not be surprised if Lee Clark makes a move when the transfer window reopens.

"I've not heard anything from Lee Clark, Huddersfield or anybody else, but I expect to and, to be honest, expected to about ten games ago because it's not just about Brodes' goals," Foyle told the York Press.
