Steve Black column: We can't wait for challenges
HI EVERYONE. What a good game we saw at Fortress Galpharm last weekend.
The lads played a high-tempo passing and pressing game that threatened to overwhelm a Swindon team obviously galvanised by their new manager Danny Wilson.
Danny is a talented manager I’ve done some work with in the past and his comments post-game were both heartening and encouraging.
He said we deserved our victory and admired the way the team had set out to attain that win.
I hope he has deserved success down at Swindon – he’s a good football man.
Once again Michael Collins (right) came up trumps ... a super young professional ... and our other goal was scored by Andy Butler, who has been outstanding since we arrived here in Huddersfield.
In effect, they all have, and daily training continues to raise the bar on their fitness levels and expectations on match day.
We’ve a great week ahead! The challenges of Leicester, Yeovil and Peterborough beckon, and we can’t wait!
It’s a great opportunity to further develop our team play and to make progress up the league.
