Steve Black column: Always lessons to learn whatever the performance!

The processes we’re putting in place will allow that success. But that effect takes time to become habitual.

We will continue to work on those habits daily and expect a transformation to become evident.

Even the not so good teams are capable of punishing errors and mistakes in the last third of the pitch.

Crewe had an exceptional game in front of goal, and I think it’s safe to assume that if they were generally that clinical, their league position would look a lot more healthy. Their teams are always well schooled and prepared so a decent performance is always on the cards from them.

This season has been a particular challenge, but I’m sure they’ll pull clear of the relegation zone.

Our lads have worked hard on the training field once again this week, and are looking forward to our game at Stockport tomorrow.

I hear we’ve sold out our ticket allocation, which is brilliant!

Seeing a full stand filled with our supporters at Crewe was very special. Thanks so much!

Once again the lads will be giving their all for the Huddersfield cause and to make your journey home a far more comfortable one than last week!

Quote of the week:

“Never stop trying to be as good as you can be and never feel you’ve done enough in any given environment.”

George Patton.

Onwards and upwards and see you all on Tuesday night, when we play Colchester at home.

Blackie.
