REPORTS suggest Cheltenham Town could complete the loan signing of Huddersfield Town midfielder Michael Flynn.

According to local newspapers in Gloucestershire, the 28-year-old Welshman, who has forged a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder during spells at Wigan, Gillingham and Huddersfield, could join as early as today.

Despite starting the season as a regular in the Huddersfield line up, he has been out of the team since new manager Lee Clark took over from Stan Ternant.

He spent a month on loan at League Two club Darlington, appearing six times before returning to the Galpharm Stadium.
