Thousands of revellers are set to descent on Bramham Park this weekend for the 2014 Leeds Festival.

The stages have been built, the camping areas prepared, and the festival site will soon fill with a sea of tents as festival goers prepare for a weekend of live music.

The West Yorkshire Police helicopter has posted some fantastic aerial shots of the Leeds Festival site through its Twitter account (NPAS_CarrGate) today (Weds), revealing a peaceful, tent free site ahead of the campers' arrival.

The arena and its brightly coloured stage tents, the VIP camping section and a lush green snap of Bramham Park from above were tweeted by the police chopper with the hashtag #leedsfest and caption 'the calm before the storm!'.

Blink 182, Paramore and the Arctic Monkeys are this year's main stage headliners, with Disclosure, The Courteeners and Bombay Bicycle Club topping the bill on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage.

Early entry ticket holders will be able to pitch their tents this afternoon, before the majority of ticket holders arrive tomorrow.
