Sometimes, you've got to just throw caution to the wind and treat yourself to a scrumptious dessert.

And what better place to do it than Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival!

This year's food and drink extravaganza, in St George's Square from August 7-10, has a host of dessert stalls for you to try.

Here are the dessert stalls planned for this year's festival:

  • Stall 16: Just Jenny's - Ice cream made from their own dairy cows and locally sourced ingredients
  • Stall 17: Crepe Escape - Freshly made sweet crepes with fillings including chocolate and marshmellows, strawberries and cream and seasonal specials, plus milkshakes
  • Stall 18: ProperMaid - Innovative Huddersfield cake makers that appeared on Dragon's Den in 2012 and received investment from Deborah Meaden
  • Stalls 27-29: Irvin Sweets - Traditional sweet shop
  • Stalls 35-36: Yummy Yorkshire - Award-winning Huddersfield based artisan dairy ice cream producer, selling ice cream, sundaes and milkshakes
  • Stall 38: Sweets of Yesteryear - A range of toffees, fudges and sweets made from traditional recipes
  • Stall 44: Botham's of Whitby - Craft made biscuits, fruit cakes and tea breads from their family bakery on the coast
  • Stall 50: Karen's Cookies - homemade cookies and giant Belgian chocolate rocky road cakes
  • Stall 52: Liquorice Delights - Liquorice cables in original and exotic flavours
  • Stall 55: Williams Handmade - Family run bakery specialising in biscuits, Eccles and Chorley cakes
  • Stall 65: Bedazzled Cupcakes - Handmade cupcakes
  • Stall 66: Ministry of Chocolate - Exotic chocolates
  • Stall 87: Yoghurt Delights - Frozen yoghurt served in a cone or cup, blended with fruit, plus yoghurt shakes
