Keep up with the Huddersfield Examiner on Google Plus

Our Google Plus page

Today the Huddersfield Examiner is launching a new way for you to read our stories by launching our first Google+ page.

You can already find the Examiner on Facebook and Twitter and now those who are on G+ will now be able to follow us there for news updates, videos and pictures.

Our Google+ page will be updated daily with stories which we think you will be interested in. We will also be hosting video discussions, called Google Hangouts, and posting videos and moving images.

You can follow our Google+ page by setting up a Google+ account and searching for Huddersfield Examiner. Click on the red Follow button.

Executive editor Andrew Jackson said: “At the Examiner we are committed to telling stories our audience want to hear. Our activity on Facebook and Twitter has been embraced by our readers and has opened up new ways for us to communicate with local people.

“By launching a presence on Google+ we will be able to reach more of our readers on a platform they want to hear from us on. If you’re already on Google+ come find us and talk to us. If you’ve not discovered it yet, we encourage you to sign up and join in the conversation.”
