New home in Lockwood Road for AGC

AGC Fixings

NOW open on the edge of town in Lockwood Road is AGC Tools & Fixings which has relocated to much larger premises from its former base in Meltham.

To celebrate the move, the family business headed by Gary and Alison Cooling is hosting a `grand opening’ two-day event on Friday and Saturday April 18 and 19. The new shop, which is open to local tradesmen, members of the public and DIY enthusiasts, will host special offers, discounts and prize draws over the two day event.

On the day there will also be demonstrations from leading brands including Bosch, Paslode, Senco and AEG. Depending on match fixtures, there will be players from Huddersfield Town and Giants in attendance on the day.

The business, which has been established since 2002, is now based in a prime roadside location in Lockwood Road in the building formerly used by Home Electric. With car parking outside and opening six days a week, it is an ideal calling point for anyone requiring fixings, fasteners, hand and power tools, sealants and adhesives, janitorial items, safety clothing, footwear and much more.
