AROMAS coffee shop continues to go from strength to strength and attract new customers, following its re-location to new premises alongside Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre.

Based in Queen Street since April, Aromas is run by husband and wife Adrian and Jillian Woods who initially started their thriving business four years ago in nearby Kirkgate.

Following the re-location, Aromas has attracted many new customers as well as retaining valued existing customers keen to sample the everchanging and expanding menu.

Opening hours at Aromas are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 5pm and Wednesday and Saturday 9am to 5pm. Following the move Aromas now opens some evenings by arrangement with the LBT to offer pretheatre refreshments.

At lunchtime Aromas is particularly popular with office workers, shoppers and students, keen to pick up takeaway coffees, soups and sandwiches etc.

All soup is the ‘homemade’ range by Knorr and Aromas also offers great homemade cakes, many of which are organic and others suitable for coeliacs. Daily specials sit alongside the main menu.

Adrian says: "Since our change to Queen Street, we have increased the range of vegetarian foods and have a great choice now available to offer alongside an excellent selection of coffees and teas, sandwiches, hot meals, puddings etc."

Recently Aromas recently made it through to the final five of the regional heat of a national coffee shop of the year competition.

With seating for 30 people inside, and plenty of outdoor seating for over 40 in the theatre courtyard for fine weather, Aromas has recently introduced much more choice of continental meats and cheeses in response to customer demand.

The coffee shop will also deliver lunchtime food to all local businesses in the town centre area - just ring first in good time with a booking! Aromas have also recently introduced an outside catering service which is already gaining a first class reputation for office meetings and open days.

Take a look at the menu and you’ll first of all see a great choice of speciality coffee and loose leaf teas, fruit smoothies, creamy milkshakes and soft drinks.

Healthy breakfasts are served until 11.30am followed by lite bites, soups, hot and cold sandwiches, meal deals, Panini’s, jacket potatoes, wraps,  plated salads and fabulous desserts.
