Wedding fayre at Pennine Manor Hotel on Sunday September 13

Pennine Manor Hotel

THE forthcoming Wedding Fayre at Pennine Manor Hotel, Scapegoat Hill promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Being held on Sunday, September 13, from 11.30am onwards, the autumn Wedding Fayre will feature two fashion shows, a variety of exhibitors and a prize draw to win a wedding worth £5,000 which will be drawn on the day itself.

The prestigious location, offering panoramic views of the local Kirklees and Calderdale area, traditionally welcomes visitors to two wedding fayres every year, in spring and autumn. Every time the event gets bigger and better and attracts even more exhibitors and visitors.

This time there will be around 30 exhibitors displaying everything from wedding flowers to photography, a violinist to bridal beauty and much more.

At 12.30pm and 2.30pm fashion shows will be held in one of two large marquees and will feature bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and men's formal hire, all from White Lace and Promises in nearby Slaithwaite.

After the first fashion show there will be a prize draw for a £250 voucher which can be spent at any Deckers Group site. The main draw for the £5,000 wedding will take place after the second fashion show. White Lace and Promises is also giving a fabulous prize of a wedding dress for one lucky bride.

Pennine Manor is one of only a few privately owned hotels, now under the ownership of The Deckers Group, a family run concern which has a number of hotels and restaurants in nearby Rochdale.

The hotel offers everything that a couple could require for their big day. Recently refurbished with new decor, flooring, lighting and furniture, it has two very different function rooms The Hilltop Restaurant and The Branson Suite.

The hotel also has a dedicated wedding coordinator Carrie France who is very experienced in organising weddings of all sizes. Her attention to detail and great organisational skill means that wedding days run smoothly from the moment the bride and groom arrive for the red carpet treatment.

Whether you want a small intimate wedding service and/or reception or a large grand affair, all the staff at Pennine Manor will help you create the perfect atmosphere to ensure you have a truly wonderful day.

Pennine Manor is already a firm favourite with couples wanting a great venue for their special day and is already taking bookings for well into 2010.

The hotel is now licensed for both civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships.

All visitors to the wedding fayre will be able to enjoy refreshments, served throughout the day in the second marquee.
