The extensive showroom at Grove Mills is open seven days a week and offers tile designs for all home styles and all budgets.
Since 1981, Waxman Ceramics Ltd has been a leading distributor of tiles and the largest supplier of mosaics throughout the UK. Here in Elland the showroom includes both a clearance tile warehouse and a new upstairs bathroom showroom featuring high quality designs from Gustavsberg, a leading Scandinavian bathroom manufacturer which is now part of the highly acclaimed Villeroy & Boch organisation.
This range includes bathroom suites and a selection of top quality accessories including towel rails, cabinets etc.
The showroom really does have something for everyone and includes colourful mosaics, natural stone designs, marble and travertine. It offers one of the best selections of floor, wall and bathroom tiles for miles around.
Covering an area of 10,000 sq ft, there are many discounted and very affordable lines.
In the early 1980s the Waxman organisation moved into the tiling business and began to import colourful mosaic ranges direct from Japan. These offered a completely new and different tiling option for local homeowners and led Waxman to become the largest importer of mosaic tiles into the UK.
Richard Waxman, managing director, is rightly proud of the extensive ranges now on offer which include affordable choices along with very high-end products.
He said: “The introduction of the Gustavsberg range has brought a new high-end choice to our showroom. We really do have a great selection for everyone.’’ As the years passed Waxman moved into all areas of tiling and now offers one of the best ranges currently available.
Today the tile warehouse offers an enormous choice for all styles and all budgets, from top Italian designs to cost-effective tiling ranges. A huge stock is always available and Waxman supplies to the general public as well as to trade and commercial outlets.
In more recent years Waxman has moved into the swimming pool trade and can create personalised tile designs from photographs to line the bottom and sides of a pool. Images featuring animals, seascapes etc are always popular.
Waxman has also moved into the area of underfloor heating systems and solar panels for both domestic homes and commercial premises.
