Now for a visual treat!

FROM a company founded by performers who specialise in classical theatre and movement - based theatre you can surely expect a visual treat.

And that’s what’s in store at 7.30pm on Sunday in Square Chapel, Halifax, which hosts the company Momentum.

The company will stage a new piece, Anima, described by the critics as a visual treat and offering an exploration of dreams.

The performers use movement, dance and theatre to invite the audience into the distorted world of the dreamer.

Expect to travel into the world of the conscious and subconscious to encounter the conflict and harmony within us all.

It’s a performance that is by turns deeply disturbing, humorous and moving, as Anima takes the audience on a surreal, thought-provoking journey.

The performance was commissioned by the Liverpool Culture Company for the European Capital of Culture 2008.

It is touring nationally and in Europe throughout the year.
