Share your images of a country park

IT IS a photographer’s paradise with its historic house and gardens, rolling pastures and wildlife.

Now those who have succumbed to the charms of Oakwell Hall Country Park are being asked to share their images of the park with others.

Anyone who has taken a photograph at the museum and country park is invited to contribute to a new exhibition, Images Of Oakwell which will open on March 15.

The exhibition is not a competition. There is no entry fee and it is being seen simply as an opportunity for people to see and enjoy the museum and country park as others have viewed it through the lens of a camera.

As well as images taken by visitors to the park, the exhibition will also showcase the work of the keen photographers among Oakwell’s staff.

The exhibition will run in the Barn at Oakwell until March 23 and if you are interested in submitting photographs for it, then contact Jane at Oakwell Hall Country Park, 01924 326240, or email: oakwell.hall@kirklees.gov.uk
