Joe Longthorne back on the road after battling illness

DYNAMIC entertainer Joe Longthorne is back on tour and on stage at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax on Saturday, April 26.

After bouncing back from a life-threatening illness, he has taken on new challenges and within his show he has updated some of the features whilst retaining tried and trusted material.

His act will include uncanny impressions of such legendary names as Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson.

A Northern lad through and through, he is a regular in summer seasons at Blackpool and has come a long way since appearing as a young performer in Junior Startime.

His big break came in 1981 when he was a finalist on TV’s Search For a Star, leading to appearances at the London Palladium with Bob Hope and The Talk of the Town.

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £22.50 and £19, available from the box office on 01422 351158 or online at www.victoriatheatre.co.uk
