The well-known Wiggle coming to the Mechanics

IT promises to be a fun time at Marsden Mechanics Hall when a New Orleans night is staged there tomorrow.
And who else to provide the music but six-piece band New Orleans Wiggle, featuring Topsy Hilton on vocals.
Old jazz tunes, blues, spirituals and boogies are on the programme. But the band also welcomes requests; if they know them and like them they’ll do their best to play them.
There is a Creole chilli, with a veggie option, and real ale to go with the evening.
