Now she sings Haydn

SHE was a finalist in last year’s BBC Cardiff Singer of the Year competition and won many friends in Huddersfield for her performance in Huddersfield Choral Society’s performance of Messiah.

Now there’s another opportunity to hear soprano Elizabeth Watts (pictured) in a performance in Sheffield tomorrow night (7.30pm).

Elizabeth will join the Sheffield Oratorio Chorus in the city’s cathedral to sing Haydn’s Creation.

The chorus will be accompanied by the South Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets are £18, £14 (£15, £11 concessions, £5 students).
