Oklahoma comes to Moldgreen

THERE’S great excitement at Spot On Musical Theatre and it’s all down to the choice of its next big show.

The society, based at Moldgreen United Reformed Church, has decided to stage the musical, Oklahoma next year and they can’t wait to get started.

Auditions for the show, which the society says has not been seen in Huddersfield for some years, are on May 7. All are welcome.

The auditions are at Moldgreen UR Church and details are available from Margaret Warmington on 01484 604471. Rehearsals will start next spring.

If you can’t wait to get on stage, the company has plans for a pantomime, Mother Goose, which will be staged in November.

Rehearsals for that start in September and if you are interested, call Gina Cook on 01484 535028.The society is also working on an old tyme music hall.
