THE DIARY dates are building up for the Savannah Jazz Band, who are in residence on Thursday (that’s May 1) at their regular local venue, the Golcar Royal British Legion Club.

These talented and entertaining musicians are much in demand and as well as a return to Golcar on June 5 have gigs booked on June 10 at Leeds Jazz Club, which is based at Upper and Lower Wortley Liberal Club.

After that, they head for Boston Spa Village Hall on June 21.

May looks just as busy with festival appearances at Keswick on the 7th, in the Isle of Man on the 9th and in Malta for Saga Holidays at the Hotel Cavalieri, St Juliens Bay from May 12 to 19.

Back in Yorkshire, they will be playing at the Halifax Agricultural Show, on Savile Park Moor on August 9.
