Where it is clear that good music is absolutely Paramount

HE IS called Mr Personality and when John Mann sits behind the console of the Paramount Compton Cinema Organ in Penistone, that’s what his audience will get.
John is the guest of the Penistone Cinema Organ Trust on June 14 for a concert at the Penistone Paramount that offers an afternoon of popular music.
Tickets are £5 and the concert begins at 2.30pm. Bookings on 07944 566972.
And for those who like a regular helping of lunchtime music, why not give the Thursday organ concerts at St Andrew’s Church in Penistone a try.
Kevin Grunill is the featured player on the Allen Digital Theatre Organ and he plays weekly on Thursdays at St Andrew’s from 1pm.
