First time at the Rex

HE’S a deputy head teacher and also a talented musician.

And although Eric Barber lives in Dewsbury and has played in over 300 venues as either a church, theatre, concert or dance organist, travelling as far as Quebec Cathedral in Canada, he has never made it to play at the Rex Cinema in Elland.

Until now.

Eric makes his first appearance on the Rex’s Conn organ for the monthly concert on Sunday, June 15 (2.30pm). Admission is £4. His musical career began when at 12, he became a deputy church organist near Dewsbury.
