Kate’s colour brightens gallery

THE Harrison Lord art gallery in Bradford Road, Brighouse, launched its new Kate Lycett exhibition to an enthusiastic audience.

Invited guests were able to see the Hebden Bridge artist’s latest work during a special preview afternoon.

Gallery owner Steven Lord said: “Kate’s work transforms views of local towns into wonderful patchworks of colour and after the appalling summer gives us all a much needed lift.”

The exhibition continues until October 19.
