Theatre: Korean kids play to entertain at Lawrence Batley Theatre

IF you’ve run out of ideas to keep the kids entertained, you could try a bit of wild, exuberant Korean humour.
That is what the Lawrence Batley Theatre is offering on February 28 when Moby Duck’s production of I’m Still Hungry comes to Huddersfield.
The play, written by Peter Wynne-Wilson, is part of the Imagine series for young children and combines storytelling, live music, puppetry and energetic humour.
It is one of Korea’s best-loved stories and, the producers say, makes Little Red Riding Hood look like boring indeed.
Moby Duck artistic director Guy Hitchins said: “Koreans produce some of the zaniest children’s theatre in the world.”
Shows run at 11am and 2pm. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4.50 for children. Call the box office on 01484 430528.
