Art: Argentinian artist Gustavo Mainetti exhibition at LBT

ARGENTINEAN Gustavo Mainetti is blending his art and architectural skills for a new exhibition.

Gustavo is staging his debut UK exhibition, Tessura Y Struttura (Texture And Structure), at the Lawrence Batley Theatre right now.

It runs until August 2 and features two types of work.

‘Texture’ works feature acrylics on canvas, plus the use of sand and glass pigments, while ‘Structure’ is all about shapes, shadows and tensions.

Gustavo, 39, graduated as an architect from the Universidad Nacional in Buenos Aires but has lived in Huddersfield since 2002. He runs Cafe Central at Milnsbridge.
