OUTLANE Singers are tuned up for a rarely performed piece of music.
On Sunday there will be a performance of The Darkest Hour by Harold Moore by the Outlane Singers organ and soloists.
The last time The Darkest Hour was performed in Outlane was in 1982 and is rarely performed due to the demand on men’s voices.
Soloists are Colleen Brown, Colin Powell and Gareth Beaumont. Organist is George Marsden and the conductor is Suzanne Smelt. See it at 6.30pm at Outlane Methodist Church, New Hey Road, on Sunday. Admission is free.
l SKELMANTHORPE Male Voice Choir is performing tomorrow at St Paul’s Hall, Huddersfield, at 7.15pm. Tickets are £7 on the door. They have invited the Marsh Ladies Choir as special guests.
