PEOPLE have the chance to get some top professional photography advice.
Yorkshire-based photographer Tony O’Connell – former Independent on Sunday/Insight Guides travel photography award-winner – is bringing his photography workshops to West Yorkshire Print Workshop in Mirfield.
He said: "Almost everyone has a digital camera these days, but many of them never get off auto because they don’t know how and are a bit intimidated by the manuals. There’s a real interest in experimenting with photography and these workshops are designed to enable people to progress their expertise."
He added: "There is a photographer in almost everyone. Most people just need to understand the basics in order to unleash their creativity.’’
A workshop on Sunday, May 8 is called Make Friends With Your Digital Compact Camera. The second workshop, called I’ve Got a dSLR – Help!, is on Sunday, May 15, from 10am to 4pm.
Booking is essential so contact Tony on 07887 885011 for more information or email him at tony@tocpics.co.uk.
