Exhibitions: Huddersfield Art Gallery showcase exhibition artists talk to host talks about their work

MANY of the artists in the current exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery will talk about their work.

Starting in January, a series of talks will take place with some of the sculptors, painters and designers.

On Tuesday January 3, Emily Stubbs will talk about her work from 1-2pm

The ceramic artists will talk about her inspiration and how she creates her pieces of pottery.

On Wednesday January 4, textile artist Priscilla Jones will host a talk, from 1-2pm.

Denby Dale-based artist James Oughtibridge will take to the floor on Thursday, January 5, from 1-2pm.

Then on Friday, January 6, Leeds-based digital designer Clare Lane will host a talk from 2-3pm.

Huddersfield University lecturer and textile artist Dionne Swift will talk about her work from 1-2pm on Saturday, January 7.

The final talks come from Art Market co-organiser Brendan Hesmondhalgh, on Wednesday, January 11 from 1-2pm, followed by Jamie Frost (featured above) on Thursday, January 12 from 1-2pm.

Jim Bond, who featured in last week’s WOW, completes the artists’ talks on Friday, January 13, from 1-2pm.

All of the talks take place at Huddersfield Art Gallery.
