Download Festival line-up revealed

THE headline acts for this year’s Download Festival have been announced.

Rock legends KISS, Californian skate punks The Offspring and Welsh nu-metallers Lostprophets will headline the Donington Park event from June 13 to 15.

Other bands confirmed for the line-up include Judas Priest and Mötorhead, Finnish sensations HIM and Chicago rockers Rise Against.

Tickets are now on sale for the festival – but 5,000 extra keen fans got in just as last year’s event was ending, snapping up special early bird tickets.

They had no idea who would be playing – which shows just how much faith fans have in the festival!

It has become more than just about the music, with entertainment starting on the campsite and in the Download ‘village’ two days before the bands start.

Weekend tickets cost £130, plus £20 for a standard camping pass. To bring a camper van will cost £40 and family camping tickets cost £20. Car parking costs £10 in advance or £15 on the day and lockers can be bought for £11. You can upgrade to VIP or RIP packages.

Call the 24-hour ticket hotline on 0844 847 1767 or visit www.downloadfestival.co.uk.

For the first time, Download has a special disabled ticket hotline. Disabled festival goers will get a free ticket for a helper, if required. The number is 0121 767 9729.
