Braced for Full Girth

GIG goers in Huddersfield are advised to stand back - because The Full Girth Explosion will be bursting on stage at Bar 1:22 this week.

The four-piece group will play the venue on Friday (March 7), treating fans to tracks from their debut EP, The Future Ain't What It Used To Be.

They will also be trying out new, unrecorded material on the crowd, hoping they will love their electro rock sound. The band, who formed two years ago, are planning to get back into the studio soon.

Synth player Mr Soozy said: "We’ve been playing several tracks that are not yet recorded and even though people have only just bought the EP, they keep asking us when they can get hold of the other tracks too. We have to pacify them with a button badge or T-shirt for the moment!"

Support will be provided at the gig by Huddersfield band The Voltaires, Dirty Soul Club and Codego.
