NOTTINGHAM’S Spotlight Kid arrive in Leeds next week suitably charged with the phasered fizz of early nineties era shoegaze.

Following a series of limited edition gig-only EPs and sold-out 7” singles, Spotlight Kid’s debut single proper, There’s A Reason Why was added to Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust playlist, and they performed at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, following support slots with The Joy Formidable and Esben & The Witch.

Now they are heading out on two week tour which stops at Empire, Leeds, on October 19.
