RISING alt-rock quartet A Plastic Rose are set to launch their UK tour in Leeds.

The Northern Irish group, who have already supported countrymen Snow Patrol this year, are set to release their debut album in September.

The band, who have been compared to Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, and Twin Atlantic, play The Cockpit on Friday, July 13.
