Fashion’s focus on rural chic

FASHION shows and the countryside don’t, on the face of it, go together that well.

But at the fifth Countryside Live event, organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and taking place at the weekend, there will be fashion shows presenting everything from deerskin clothing, wellies and climbing wear to lingerie and outdoor gear.

Huddersfield is making a major contribution to the show, which is being staged by the locally-based Louise Morton Model Agency. It’s compèred by celebrity florist Carl Wilde and will feature Bradley Mills company Godsrock.

Countryside Live is held at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The ‘Country Cool’ fashion shows can be seen three times each day, at noon, 1.30pm and 3pm.

Tickets for the show are between £5 and £8 with free car parking. For details check out www.countrysidelive.co.uk
