Two Huddersfield girls battle for Miss Universe Great Britain title
Natalie, 27, of Newsome, is an experienced beauty pageant competitor.
Kelly, 22, a keen horse-rider, has never taken part in a beauty pageant before but fought off tough competition from 500 other hopefuls to be named a finalist.
Miss Universe is supporting the Joshua Foundation – a charity which provides holidays and experiences for children with terminal cancer and their families – and both girls will hold fundraising events for the charity.
Natalie has been a well-known dance teacher in Huddersfield for the last ten years, formerly based at the Dance Works Studios.
Last March she entered her first pageant and within seven months she won Miss Congeniality Intercontinental London 09 and was crowned Miss Motors F1 Black Britain.
Kelly, 22, of Denby Dale is hoping to win her first title. Her family encouraged her to enter.
Another finalist is Lauren Stephenson, an 18-year-old medical student, who is a former Brighouse High School pupil from Northowram.
