The experience begins as soon as you phone up to book.

I was asked if it was special occasion. It sure was – my wife, Ruth’s, birthday. Nothing more was said and we turned up with a couple of friends.

It didn’t take a Miss Marple investigative eye to realise why they wanted to know if it was a special meal.
