1@ Liquid Feeding – now that we have had a few weeks with our summer containers and pot-grown vegetables being in new compost, it is time to start the routine of liquid feeding once a fortnight. For flowering and fruit production use a high Potash (K) feed such as Tomorite. Or for good foliage production with salad crops in pots give them high Nitrogen (N) feed. If you are not sure which to use, ask at your local garden centre for advice. Alongside this regular task is the other routine of dead-heading – a boring but very necessary task to ensure the success of many summer bedding plants. Read
