Now is a good time to check out gutters and downfall pipes on glasshouses, conservatories, sheds, garages and houses to make sure they are clean and flowing properly.

Empty and wash out your water butts whilst you are cleaning your gutters to give you a clean start to the new watering season.

Whilst you are having a thorough outdoor clean up, why not jet-wash paths and patios to remove that green-black algal slime and make them safer to walk on.
