Mrs Jane Sykes and Mr James Edward Bennett were married at The Old Golf House, New Hey Road, Outlane.

The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs E N Pontefract, of Church Close, Shepley, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs A Bennett, of Jenkyn Lane, Shepley.

The best man was Daniel Matthew Bennett, and the groomsman was Jadun Sykes.

The bridesmaid was Jenny May Philip.
