Traders welcome

I WOULD welcome any Huddersfield market trader to join us at Springfield Mill, Denby Dale. We have units available that I am confident will be more affordable than being in the town centre on a daily basis. You could stay with us for a full week, for the prices you are charged on a daily basis.

We are a small family ownership; believe in looking after the sole trader and support individual businesses. We work as an on going retail community with a strong spirit within the mill complex.

We have the Denby Dale Community Centre, which supports local people. Play centres and service industries.

We would welcome charities, market traders and any one who is being pushed out of main towns due to serious high rentals.

Rates are out of serious proportion and again hurting the small business community. It’s time councillors and the government got on our side and started to fight for the rights of individualism against big business such as Tescos, who will kill small and valuable businesses who have a right to run a necessary village shop, post office, etc.

Believe me none of us will go down without a serious fight. So I would like to say to all the Examiner readers, please shop locally.

Keep your village shops alive and your local shops, markets and mill shopping centres.

We are individual and innovative. We are also family. We need your help and support.

In return, we will give you great service, family values, a smile, and a good old fashioned natter. You don’t get that internet shopping!!
