So I won’t mention it!

SECONDBORN says that under no circumstances must I write about her recent performance in a dancing show.
So I’m afraid I can’t tell you about the black leggings, red tutu and white feather boa.
Or the look of complete indifference on her face as she went through the moves to Shirley Bassey’s Get this Party Started...
What I can say, however, is that I’m a firm believer in keeping children busy and active. So despite the fact that The Girl will never be a Darcey Bussell or Ginger Rogers she will be continuing with her dancing lessons.
If this seems harsh then you should know that she was only allowed to give up karate, which she’d done since the age of five, if she chose another sport/activity to replace it. She chose dancing and is now learning valuable lessons.
They are:
A She perhaps should have chosen more wisely
B I keep to my word
C Regular exercise is an important part of life, particularly when chocolate is your favourite form of indulgence.
