Thanks a lot Keith

I WISH through your columns to thank our special columnist of five years, K Hellawell, for the pleasure he has given to thousands of us, not to mention educating and enlightening us on so many different issues.
Sharing his experiences, views and thoughts with Examiner readers was not an easy job to do.
Not many talented writers are so convincing and have a gift of capturing the readers’ attention.
Good luck with the novels. You will be greatly missed by all of us. I wish you and yours all the best.

Those eyesore bins
REGARDING the tidy-up of the houses in Thornton Lodge. Couldn’t the builders have made a recess in each house wall so the rubbish bins could be pushed back?
They are on the pavement permanently and look a mess. It spoils the whole look of the road after spending all that money.
