Tribute to Andrew

THE tragic death of Andrew Spencer has moved and saddened everyone who knew him. Andrew was liked and loved by all and his contribution to dance, rugby and the amateur operatic world was outstanding.

To his many friends in the Huddersfield Light Opera Company and the audiences who came to see our shows, he will be forever remembered as the funny, outrageous, wonderfully endearing Jacob in our latest production La Cage aux Folles. His comic talent and sheer presence on stage can never be forgotten.

Andrew was a true ‘pal’ to everyone, including his parents Ray and Lesley, and with his cheery – and cheeky – grin, which lit up a room wherever he was, I know I speak for everyone when I say, Andrew you will be sadly missed !
