HERE are the prizes that this year’s winners received:

Overall winner Elizabeth Philpot was presented with the crystal Garden of the Year trophy which she gets to keep for a year.

Elizabeth also received a £500 Examiner travel voucher towards the cost of a trip for herself and a companion. She, like the winners of the other two categories, was given vouchers worth £100 to spend at Armitage’s Garden Centres with vouchers worth £75 going to the second prize winners and £50 to those placed third.

Each of the nine winners also gets the super gardening book, Gardeners’ Question Time; Plant Chooser by Bob Flowerdew, John Cushnie, Matthew Biggs and Bunny Guinness courtesy of booksellers, Waterstones.
