Journo Jane’s coming to talk

JANE WOLSTENHOLME is a former journalist and now works in PR.

Writing under the pseudonym Jane Costello she published her first book in May.

It was rattled off while she was on maternity leave from the Liverpool Daily Post, where she was the paper’s first woman editor and one of the youngest daily newspaper editors in the country at just 28.

Now 34, Jane has a young son and is expecting her second child in August. Her second book will be due in April next year.

Bridesmaids is described as a “chick lit novel” that follows the fortunes of the 27-year-old central character, a journalist, and her friends over the course of several weddings, but no funerals.

The book won a publishing deal from Simon and Schuster shortly after completion and sold almost 50,000 copies within two months of publication.
