What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? The last film I watched was – G. I. Joe – it was brilliant.

Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? My all time favourite programme is – The Apprentice – I think Sir Alan Sugar is great – but don’t know how he gets away with some of his comments!

What makes you laugh? Funny observations about life (as per Billy Connolly)

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? If I could travel anywhere – it would be Las Vegas – I would love to be in one of those booths where the sides come down and money is poured in when you win the jackpot! Not that I am at all lucky – or a gambler!

On a personal note, what is your best quality? Being a Gemini I can always see all sides of an argument – so I’m a great peacekeeper..

..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? Worst fault – impatience!

What is your favourite local shop? Tiger Feet – fantastic shoes and bags.

Name your ideal way to spend an evening out. A meal (preferably Italian) and then a movie.

How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? Always at home and always with family and friends.

What is the last book you read? Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.

What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? A pair of Fit Flops – they work miracles on the legs and bottom…. I just need to find something for the rest of me now!

Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? Queen Elizabeth 1 – strong forceful woman who shaped our history.

Name a favourite piece of music. William Orbit’s Adagio for Strings.

What is the most important thing in your life today? My family.

Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why? I have had loads of pets over the years – usually strays or rescue animals. My first (and favourite) dog was a scrap of a mongrel we called Rocky – because at the time we loved the Rocky movies with Sly Stallone.

If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? Bradford Bulls Rugby League (sorry Giants) though they haven’t had too good a season, there’s always next year though!

What concerns you most about modern life and today's society? I am very concerned about the breakdown of family life (as I know it) and the lack of good manners. Good manners create respect and I feel these qualities are disappearing – which is very worrying.

Who would you like to be stuck in a traffic jam with? Billy Connolly and my best friend Lorraine – I wouldn’t care how long the jam was with these two in the car as the time would fly!
