HOBBIES: Going to the gym, swimming and badminton.
What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? Love Happens – Jennifer Aniston.
Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? I love Sex and the City – but I do secretly watch The Hills.
What makes you laugh? Peter Kay, Benidorm and my house mate Jo!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I have always wanted to go to Vegas – I was hoping to go for my 40th (which is in December) but went to Bulgaria with the girls for a week instead. Maybe next year!
On a personal note, what is your best quality? I am a very kind and considerate person, When life throws me a lemon I add tequila and salt – so I think I can see the best in every situation!
..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? Obviously I don’t have many bad faults but I guess I can be a little impatient!
What is your favourite local shop? Flowers by Design in Lindley.
Name your ideal way to spend an evening out. Dinner and drinks with the girls.
How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? With friends and family.
What is the last book you read? Dawn French autobiography.
What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? It has to be a pair of Karen Millen shoes that I really needed!
Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? I am currently looking after my housemate who has a broken leg – so I am currently modelling myself on Florence Nightingale!
Name a favourite piece of music. Dance of the Knights, Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet. More recently this has been the opening music for The Apprentice.
What is the most important thing in your life today? My family and friends.
Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why? I used to have a cat when I lived in Liverpool. He was a beautiful looking Black Persian. We called him Syd as he was quite vicious.
If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? I am a big Rugby League fan and love going to watch the Giants. Can’t wait for the season to start again!
What concerns you most about modern life and today's society? I hate the way some youngsters treat elderly people, and bad manners. Everyone seems to be in such a rush and can’t spend time to open doors and be pleasant to others.
