OCCUPATION: Runs Thinking Of You gift shop in Commercial Road, Skelmanthorpe.
STATUS: Lives with partner.
CHILDREN: A son and a daughter.
HOBBIES: Dancing.
What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? Mamma Mia, better than I expected and a great girlie night out.
Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? The BBC version of Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth, what can I say?)
What makes you laugh? Lots of things make my laugh, particularly Total Wipeout at the moment.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? Australia and New Zealand for the diversity of wildlife and scenery.
On a personal note, what is your best quality? I am told that I always try to see the best in people.
..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? I talk too fast.
What is your favourite local shop? Nailspa and The Beauty Shop, both in Skelmanthorpe.
How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? Christmas with family and New Year with friends.
What is the last book you read? The Gift by Cecelia Ahern. I love Irish writers.
What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? A gorgeous necklace from my shop.
Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? Florence Nightingale.
Name a favourite piece of music. Vivaldi's Mandolin Concerto and anything sung by Andrea Bocelli.
What is the most important thing in your life today? My family.
Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why? I've had lots of pets over the years, most of which have been named by other members of the family. I did have a beautiful cat called Noggin, named after Noggin the Nog.
If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? Team GB athletics and I also love tennis, particularly Wimbledon.
What concerns you most about modern life and today's society? Lack of respect, care and concern for others.
How often do you play the National Lottery and have you ever won? I play all the time but have only ever won £10 about four times. I live in hope.
What is your overall opinion of Huddersfield as a place to live? I only really know my side of Huddersfield but it is a very friendly place.
Who would you like to be stuck in a traffic jam with? Andrea Bocelli as I could have my own personal concert.
