HOBBIES: Football and cricket.
What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? Gran Torino: Clint Eastwood reminds me of my father in law!
Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? Only Fools & Horses: I see Del Boy in my dad.
What makes you laugh? My daughter Megan: she has a very dry sense of humour.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? Australia because we thought about emigrating before the kids were born.
On a personal note, what is your best quality? Being extremely reliable and meeting deadlines.
..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? Snapping at my children even when I know they are right.
What is your favourite local shop? O’Neills Sports, would recommend it to anyone! I am biased as I now own it!
Name your ideal way to spend an evening out. Out in a group with friends for a meal and a laugh.
How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? We used to get up at 6am but now the children are older it’s more like lunchtime! Eat out somewhere nice and then sit around in front of the TV. New Year’s Eve tends to be a party at ours!
What is the last book you read? I’m currently in the middle of Peter Crouch’s autobiography.
What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? O’Neills Sports.
Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley, who coached football the way it should be coached.
Name a favourite piece of music. Alicia Keys’ album is great, now I just need to get it back from my wife’s car!
What is the most important thing in your life today? Family, friends. Oh and my customers of course!
Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why?
I had two Yorkshire Terriers when I was young named Chummy and Brandy. Ask my dad why they were named that! I don’t have a clue. At present the kids have three goldfish that I seem to have adopted!
If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? England v Australia in the New Year’s Day test match. Hopefully seeing England beat the Aussies again!
Who would you like to be stuck in a traffic jam with? David Lloyd cricket commentator; he’s hilarious.
