What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? Pretty Woman! Think I need to get to the cinema quick.

Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? Fawlty Towers, quality!

What makes you laugh? Gordon Brown.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? America: great weather great golf courses great people.

On a personal note, what is your best quality? Great dad to my kids, caring and honest!

..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? Can’t stop biting my finger nails.

What is your favourite local shop? Spicy cottage in Birkby best takeaway in town.

Name your ideal way to spend an evening out. With my wife and friends nice meal, wine and a good laugh.

How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? Christmas and New Year at home with the family.

What is the last book you read? Dragons Den.

What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? Four Eden Park dress shirts.

Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? Ryan Giggs, great ambassador to his sport, so professional on and of the field, great family man, never got involved with media scandal. Top man!

Name a favourite piece of music. The music to the film Champions, about the life of jockey Bob Champion.

What is the most important thing in your life today? My loving family who give me so much joy and happiness and mean everything to me.

Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why? My first pet was a goldfish, I called it Joker. Don’t know why.

If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? Huddersfield Giants, of course.

What concerns you most about modern life and today's society? Drug abuse in society, particularly in the younger generation, Increases in fuel prices and taxes.

How often do you play the National Lottery and have you ever won? Play the lottery now and then, most I have won is £10.

What is your overall opinion of Huddersfield as a place to live? Huddersfield born and bred, best town in the UK by far.

Who would you like to be stuck in a traffic jam with? Tiger Woods, best golfer ever, would be very interesting.
