What was the last movie you watched at the cinema? So long ago I can’t remember.
Which TV programme is your all-time favourite? All Creatures Great and Small.
What makes you laugh? Political cartoons.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? China because of its fascinating culture and history.
On a personal note, what is your best quality? Perseverance.
..and sorry, we have to ask, what is your worst fault or bad habit? Mars bars.
What is your favourite local shop? Meltham Post Office
Name your ideal way to spend an evening out. A meal out with friends.
How do you normally spend Christmas and New Year? At home.
What is the last book you read? Venture into the Interior by Laurens Van Der Post.
What is the last luxury item you bought for yourself? Doll’s House.
Looking back in history, who is the man or woman you most admire? William Carey (Baptist Missionary).
Name a favourite piece of music. Hallelujah Chorus.
What is the most important thing in your life today? My faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Have you ever had a pet and if so, what did you name it and why? An Airedale Terrier called Cathra named after Blencathra my favourite climb in the Lakes.
If you could go and watch any sports team, who would it be? St Helen’s Rugby League.
What concerns you most about modern life and today's society? I could write an essay, about the pace and the moral direction.
How often do you play the National Lottery and have you ever won? Never played.
What is your overall opinion of Huddersfield as a place to live? An area with many benefits surrounded by fabulous countryside.
Who would you like to be stuck in a traffic jam with? My wife!
